Starship designs

I have a number of starship designs but I keep getting...well some... griped about the ridiged edged my ships have. Some say, "You must belevel your corners or don't bother." I'm sorry, but that doesn't float for me all the time. I know that for the eye candy aspect you do not want to see a box flying in space but do you guys have any suggestions as to getting around beleveling?

No. I almost always bevel edges- even when that involves >200 models. It looks soooooo much better...

agreed. for mechanical models there really is no getting around it. it you don't bevel then the specular highlights look flat and the whole image will suffer.... just one of those things.
