pfx stroke - turn off follow camera

Is there a way to turn off the way a branch or twig will follow the camera? I am trying to make the branches, or more accurately the twigs, very very flat, but upon doing that it becomes very noticeable that they are following the camera.

there is a connection between your pfx and your camera, break it.

duncan had a tutorial on his blog for this actually.
