Edited: new story.

Bubba, the sword swallower!

Bubba swallows a sword, completely. Handle and all.

He then picks up a bottle of Mighty-LAX from a nearby stool. It's so tasty too! Pops the cork and downs it.

Bubba's stomach rumbles. Off to the right side of the stage is a red and white bullseye target. Bubba aligns his butt with the target and rips a big one!

The sword comes flying out of Bubba's arse and hits the bullseye dead center. Unfortunately his still-beating heart is skewered on the sword.

He takes off his hat and collapses.

Poor, poor Bubba.

Hooray! The first participiant!
Very nice idea. How about three accidents. I mean it is always three things that happen. I guess it's a murphy's law or something.

You know, climax and stuff. Just a suggestion.

Thanks MrSolo, Milho. =)

I'd like to put some more stuff in, but there's that 20 sec limit. Last challenge I tried to stuff waaaaaaaay too many things into the time limit and nearly killed myself trying.

This challenge I'm gonna keep it niiiice and simple.

Animatics coming later tonight I hope.

Hey Mattew great idea! I also agree with Milho, a 3rd object (second inbetween) would be the icing on the cake, perhaps something very odd..
good luck.

Thanks! But the way I'm planning to animate this I may even have to cut out the first swallow and just do one.

Who knows, I might release a Sideshow Accidents: Directors Cut with additional mishaps =) I wonder what strange items are lurking within Bubba's stomach.. Maybe a magicians white rabbit (Watch me pull a rabbit outa my chest!)

Or he can pull the sword out and it'll be filled with meat, potatoes and other goodies like a shish-ka-bob. (shish-ka-bubba?)

Still havent quite decided wether to go cartoony or something a lil more realistic, will start modeling and see where the muses take me. For now this is generally what Bubba will look like, seems pretty turn of the 20th century to me.

Ok, decided to go cartoony. Here's a new drawing and a WIP of Bubba's body.

Been a bit busy, finally got around to finishing Bubba's model. Now to rig/animate! And build a stage! :thumbsdow

I also changed the story a bit, scroll up to 2nd post to read it. I think it'll be a lot more fun to animate.

Here's a new pic.

Hahaha! That's a nice one.
Though I liked the first story alot this one is less predictable.
The heart thing would work with the sword out of his mouth as well. But you're the boss

Edit: forgot about the model: How about darker outlines? Would make a better contrast in the animation -> stronger silhouette

I love Animation Master, lets me do cool dynamics like the pants really easily.

Facial Rigging next.
