quick render passes q (naming passes)

so im doin a multipass render using mental ray, rendering into openEXR format

now i know what passes i want ect, but im having trouble naming them.

when i open out the oEXR i look at the pass names and they are like


how do i get it so that it is named ambientIrrad and Diffuse without all that other junk?

I've found that having more then 1 renderable camera screws up the naming, check that you've only got 1 set to renderable, and I also turn on custom buffer naming so i can remove the camera from the buffer names.
