copying motions

I want to copy a motion from one object and paste in another, but following the motion already there, not replacing it. I know you can do this with individual curves, but I want to do it with all the basic channels at once.. pos x,y,z, rot h,p,b and scale...

ideally I would do multiple objects at once....

See the Motion Mixer docs.

I just used it once to copy a motion from one character to another. I don't remember the procedures, but I think it's the best way to go.

1.) you can write an lscript to do this automatically.

2.) use the "Save Motion" and "Load Motion".
