Need better exporter for NDS Displaylists

Hi there!

We are working on a Nintendo DS game and as the DS is quite restricted in respect of polycount and other stuff, it is really important to optimize the meshes. We already use a python exporter, which can write out display lists for the DS. But the script is quite limited (no tristrips/quads, no animations, no vertex colors). Right now we are only 2 people and the programmer is heavy at work to get the engine running (and he is neither good at python nor is he very experienced).
So that's why I want to ask, if somebody knows or has a better exporter script for Nintendo DS displaylists. Or maybe somebody is willing to write a better one. We would be really happy 'bout that.
So, if someone is interested to join our project for creating tools, feel free to contact me.
For some informations about the DS project (and others), just visit my site:

I'll put up some more pictures of the DS game as well as a running demo the next few days
Sharing the burden of shizophrenia. Me, too.
