character animation training CD

Hi Folks,

I would like to let everyone know that I'm currently in production of a training CD that will teach basic animation principles (lots of examples) and walk an individual through the animation process for a short (which includes two characters and a comical encounter). To view the animation go here:

For details on what will be on the CD, please visit here:

The CD will cover some setup , but I will be concentrating on the actual animation. Step by step, walking and talking through some of the hurdles (be they animation, setup or what have you) and showing solutions to those hurdles. It will be like me explaining everything I do and why I do it as you sit next to me as I animate. The CD will include video, audio, scene files, character rigs and objects. The first CD is Maya based, but I may consider producing a similar CD for Lightwave and Max - depending on demand. Anyway, if you are interested in this kind of thing please drop me an email (paul@lostpencil.com).

Cheers,
