Concept / pre-visualization: Miss me (may change/add with a question mark in end)
![]() alright, gonna play around with a bit of shape and silhouettes for now, not quite sure about the back story yet, nor do i have any precise clue what to make just yet. for now, i will concentrate on the primary theme: "to depict characters and events involving espionage, gadgets, guns and evil geniuses" from front page "Depict a scene of a secret agent in a binding circumstance. " from instruction page side note:: i think i saw a piano in there somewhere o.O |

hehhhh, thanks for the many kind words, JHarford. DW IV was certainly a entertaining challenge, not only did i got a illustration, i also got a few extra ideas out it that i can work on in the future. I am still sorting out where to get a few artist proof prints of the image before any official release of the image print, do you have any suggestions? i have look into mpix.com and wolfcamera for prints atm, i plan to check on a few local print stores to see if i can get some prints of past work too. What size do you prefer, JHarford? i have done 24X36 and 11x17 inch prints before, it may take me sometime to find a comfortable print place if your still interested by then ;). i'll keep you guys entertain with more mystery silhouettes that recently pop out, maybe i can make up some story along so that the characters becomes more clearer to me too ^^;;, what i see so far are mostly gangs in long coats in the infamous 1940s typical flavor agent wears("death of a salesman", anyone? hehe). i am still a tad fuzzy with what the scene will be tho, just gota keep the secret agent theme in mind for now ;). |

Hello again,
Would it be possible for you to save a tiff image sequentially every minute or so when you are working? The way you attack the canvas reminds me of watching an intense oil painting session and seeing a fluid transformation from start to finish would make for some cool animations! Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm very interested in what some of the shapes on the left will become. __________________

hehe, thanks for dropping by everyone =), while the process of creating this image may not be the most efficient due to all the random elements flowing around, and since its all so abstract, it can be very difficult to do any constructive critiques at all; allow me sometime to develop the image a bit, afterward a lot of terrible perspective, and deformed body proportions will almost certainly pop up =)
CircusRobot:: yup yup, I do have a load of progress shots from one transition stage to the next, they are all 663X1024 pixels and 150kb size each for this project, I could go and zip up all the images once I get to the final product, or I can make em animated gif files, which one would you prefer =). if your really interested in how the process envelops, I can send ya a zip file of the DW IV: mini2 challenge that I work on, it has the same working process, from start to finish ![]() |
