This is a long on and off project i am working on for like 3-4 months.
Its my attemp to create something detail and realistic.
I like see what people think of this...feel free to critiques and comment.

I think the light setting of multiply: 2 changed the colour...

First off, it looks good, as a stylized piece. The neck seems unusally large to me, it seems to not go very well with the thin shoulders. The hair looks too simplified, it needs more than just a stroke like effect, and the beard hairs seem a little too large and far spaced apart.
He does not seem to have any cheek bones, and those eyes are hugh. Both things that could be a matter of style, but sort of distract from the realism from the background picture.
Since this appears to be a cave man, and since I don't know a lot about the bone stucture of this time period, I would go back to a few old copies of the National Geographic for more realistic models.

Well, if you're going for realism you would have to make a whole lot of changes to that guy.
The most striking flaw is the size of the eyes. They are far too big, especially for an old man.
The neck/throat is too wide compared to the width of the shoulders. The lips look very weird to me, like they are mainly just painted on without any tissue to support them.
The hairs on that unshaven chin looks a bit off - too sharp and too dark.
The texturing looks very good though! But the geometry needs a lot of tweaking.
Be indiscreet - do it continuously.
