Nice work!

I'd like to see a more cluttered - dirtier textured version
of it, like in the great comics of the master...

The modeling looks good, and the texturing isn't bad either. The lighting is a little too soft and directionless for my taste, but that's just me. The blue cables look a bit out of place, and the light coming from beneath the left door seems unreasonably bright. Other than that, I like it...

Juste a Combustion operator.
Easy to remove

OT: Combustion

A little OT, but how do you like Combustion, v2n? I've been comparing it with AE6 and Digital Fusion (or DFX+...no I didn't get the pre-order deal), and will probably be making a decision in the next few months or so.

I used the 30-day demo of combustion for OSX, (planning on getting a PC soon also) and it seemed pretty nice. A little disorienting coming from an AE background, but it seemed like it would be more powerful once I came to grips with it. Have you experienced any instability problems with it? I've spoken with some people who say that they've had problems with it crashing. Sorry for going OT...I was just curious.

Combustion 2 is "relatively" stable on Win 2K.

But I don't think it is better than After Effect.

Juste a question of taste.
Personally, I like the interface, easy to use and the
the dicreet color corector.

Getting better!
Nikopol should be happy

the blue color of cables disturb me a bit
but that's only my opinion.

Thanks

In the Bilal's book they are blue, so I made them blue

It's in the Hotel of the girl Jill Bioscop who has blue hair too.

Great image though

Jill Bioskop great woman

Ok i'm in front of the book now.
the cables are blue, but with some more
dirt they will fit better in your image.
dirt in the walls can be noticed better, and the
cracks on the walls too, also the "handles"
( sorry i don't have the word now)
of stairs are darker
the color of door and other elements
is more green

I love the visible exterior pipes, reminds me of a terry gilliam movie. What exactly is this based off of anyway?

  07 July 2003
I don't know what for are the pipes. I was inspired
by this Bilal's drawing

Bilal is one of the masters of
European comic books!!!
(in France Bandes dessinees)

his work , like the one of Moebius the great, inspired many movies.
in particular, the dirty look of his comics environments
is similar to Blade Runner and Terry Gililiam Brazil.

but Bilal made it first.

p.s. in the book the image appears more dark and saturated.
