I am working on it bud

Not sure in the corporate world or advertising etc,but C4D is getting pretty popular among users everywhere, although that will take a knock because of Lightwaves new pricing I would think, which in my mind will make XL8 kick ass good because it will have to be.

Where in NZ are you from mate?........I am from Dunedin

Ah from up north

Ya I think I will wait and see as well, then I might possibly move to Lightwave if I am not impressed, but I have to give them credit for XL7 that had some nice new bits. Now that they have the renderer sorted I would assume character ani would be next, and maybe some new modelling tools as well would be nice eh Mike

So do you use CG for a living bud?

That would be very nice ....but the main app pricing would go up for sure

What sort of new modelling tools would you like to see fxgogo?......I am just curious as I find I can model most things, but I suppose speed does not factor into that, and new tools would improve workflow

I am a home user really who is starting to make a demo reel.I am quite with proficient with Photoshop and am also a mod on a PS board.

My deal is really I was an artist who developed a neurological condition and couldnt use a paintbrush or air brush properly anymore so I sold my car and bought a puter and PS and have been learning a number of apps in order to get into the 3d industry.I am progressively getting worse but I dont believe in CANT and I dont believe in I GIVE IN so I am gonna strong arm my way into a 3d job even if it is just part time, aint nobody taking this kids dream away thats for sure for any reason......{hahahaaa gets off soap box

I would love to show you guys some of my work, but whenever I try to upload a normal PS jpeg of about 80k the server spits the dummy at me with a file to large warning......its making me feel like a real dork...hahahahaaa ,I can however post a couple of links to the PS board gallery I co moderate with a mate of mine if you like

Ya BP3d and Dynamics mmmmmm nice Have you seen how expensive Shave and a Haircut for C4D is?,not sure of US pricing but its 1250 AU which is where I get my soft and plugins from, and I thought the others were expensive .......I vote we all do a bank job ,whaddaya reckon

Cheers

I finally managed to post some of it

That Dragon took ages to make, and spent ages on the textures as well

The 50k file size has screwed with the pic something wicked unfortunately

Heres those links Mike

I am going to embark on a character soon myself.I have made semi reasonable heads, nothing I put a lot of effort into, but I figure if I can model that Dragon then now I should be able to pull off a reasonable character as well

Its 12:08 am here Mike
