Character: Lady in red

My latest piece of work, 100% Photoshop, about 3 days.

The body looks good, but you need to improve on the face. It looks a little flat. The comes and lips come out and you but the other parts of the face seem pulled back.

LHS of the face (as we look) needs more polys! (jk) it needs to be smoother, esp for a flat face like that. and i see people with faces like that, its good i think.

I think the hair is taking away from the shape of her... If it was fluffier at the top, had more volume, it'd really bring out the shape of her head and make everything proportioned I think.

I absolutely love how you did the background, have you considered her lips to be as vibrant a red?

Red

Yeah I tried different tints of red (both dark and vibrant) for her lips but it didnt look very good, distracting...

As for her hair, I dont know, I wanted them to be flat and pointy so it's not easy to add some volume without a different haircut, maybe with some highlights/shadows/textures

the mood is nice.....but somehow it seems that the hair doesn't belongs to her!!

isn't she a bit too muscular? I mean her bust is way too bulky in reference with the head.
And maybe you should look into the lower part of the eye...looks too flat..maybe add some sort of thicker eyeliner?

so is this 3d or 2d? is it possible that you may have posted in the wrong category?

I think what looks off about the hair is that it is not "tall" enough- the eyes should be about halfway up the head, and these are about 1/3 from the top!

Really nice composition, though. I love how you did the lips and flowers.

I think the lips look great. Something about the eyes doesn't feel right.

Good work, and great colors!!

I'd like to see more depth between the eyes. You can't really see where the back of the nose ends, and the eye-socket (if that's what it's called) begins...
