open windows explorer with MEL?

Hello,

I want to have a button in my script which can open a windows explorer window.
And it must directly open a certain folder based on the user input.
I searched the web and the forums, but couldnt find a good command.
I found this: system \"start explorer /n,/e, \" + $path"; in some other script
But couldnt get it to work in my own script.
Can you help me please?

Thanks,
Boyo

Code:
string $path = "C:\\FlexLM"; string $syscmd = "start explorer /n,/e, " + $path; system( $syscmd );

this for instance opens the explorer with the current scene file selected:
Code:
system ("explorer /select,\"" + toNativePath(`file -q -location`) + "\"");

Thanks guys, it worked!
It was to open the folder to which I export an .obj file.
Saving me a lot of time searching in the long directory tree.
