3D & Animation schools

hi, im 14 and have been using photoshop for about 3 years now, im wanting to get into 3D modeling and animation, is anyone able to point me in the right direction for what i will have to do in school to get grades (subject wise) and give me a few university names i might be interested in? at the minute im doing: Art, Technology, Geography, Business Studies, Biology, chemistry, Physics, Math, English

I found Vancouver Film School
and it has the sort of courses that im interested in, the outcomes are fantastic as well but im not sure if it is a university or if you do it after university.

thanks in advance

Hi Jaxko,

VFS is an Animation school in Vancouver, Canada; not an university. Following is the requirements for admission to the courses:

  • Successful completion of the VFS Foundation Visual Art & Design program
OR
  • A visual art portfolio of your work that includes life drawings and 3D computer work (maximum 12 pieces). If you do not have 3D work, a combination of other computer work may be acceptable (e.g. Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator etc).

You Graduate With:
  • A Diploma in 3D Animation.
  • A mastered demo reel of your final project.
  • Access to the VFS Alumni Directory and Job Board.

Hey indi456,

Same here too! Hmmm... I guess, you are here, just to spam, with the main intension of promoting your signature sites! This is a CG community site, where you have to comment on topics relating to CG, & which has your own voice in it, not just copying & pasting others' comments! You might also be here to just increase your number of posts!

I'd like to request the moderators, to take some action against this spammer!
