Bump gets softer if it's further away, help
Hello,
when i render a scene with bump map applyed, the bump gets softer if i'ts further away, why is this? Thx ![]() |

thats how filtering works - an object far away in perspective has less pixels to define it than an object close to the camera. how the computer displays your object/texture with the number of pixels available depends on a bunch of things.
if you want your far away textures to be sharper, render at a higher resolution, or adjust the filtering settings in the file node, or the filtering settings in the render globals, or all of them. |
