using visual studio Express to create plugins for max!!

hi all,
been meaning to dive into the sdk for ages -
i mainly use code blocks so i certainly didnt want to buy vi$ual studio just to dabble in the max sdk - so tonight i spent a few hours setting up the free visual studio express to compile plugins with max 2009

just incase anyone else is looking to do the same i explain how i did it on my blog

http://blog.monogana.com

hope this helps someone save a few bucks and a few hours

I was going to post a thread about this because I couldn't get it to work.. thanks!
Figured most of your steps by now, like adding mfc, but I was still missing libraries.

Might be nice to add a chapter about setting up VSExpress to the SDK help.

I'll give the tip to the programmer in our studio. Thanks, mr. Drunken Monkey!
