Making of the Alley - 3DS Max/FumeFX

This image was created to be used as the front cover of a London based band “Tabloid”. The briefing was simple – create a typical wintery mood you would find in a deserted London back street, but to keep it non cg-like and personal. I have decided to try and approach this project a bit differently, and to treat the job as a matte painting more than a traditional 3D render I would usually do.

Alright, seriously, is there a bottom end to the quality and polish of imagery you will consider news and spam other forums with?
I'd be hard pressed to accept something like this in any gallery I've been involved with, let alone consider an article about it interesting and then spamming other forums with links to it.

If anybody involved is so desperate for attention, and itsart is fine featuring anything and everything that had CG involved in the creation process at any point, then have the author submit it to the gallery and link the article in the post, but for the love of all that's holy STOP SPAMMING THE NEWS FORUMS!

This is NOT news.
