Technically perfect but I dont understand the end: he shot a nuclear bomb from a rocket launcher?

no he didn't, they are not related, the rocket launcher is broken and the missle missed the target (here - Robot) and we never hear from her again).And then the evil humans dropped a nuclear bomb wich exploded - Simple!

Great stuff guys! Really enjoyed the first person person aspect of it. Also, nice to see shorts where the bad guy wins.

On another note, thanks for doing something violent. Way to many pieces out there of cutesy animals telling joke, nice to see gritty.

Nice work, reminds me of an idea I had about 10 years ago that I wanted to do as a short but never got to do as I ended up doing something else.

What is your software/pipeline?

We used Softimage XSI and Fusion.

How long it took to finish the animation?... that's a hard question. We started almost 7 months ago with something a lot simpler, working from 1 to 3,4 hours after (and sometimes before) working hours at the studio. We had to put the project on hold many times because the projects we had to do at work where the priorities, so I think that 3 months working 8 hours / day would be enough but we couldn't afford that

We rendered 246,775 picture files in over 130 passes.
