Question of Ram and Cinema4D
Hey all... I am moving to a 64bit system, PC. I am planning on 8 gigs of ram. My question is it worth going the extra mile and getting 16? Does/ will Cinema use it? I was told that the processors have to jump from 8 to 16 because they are Intel.
I know this is open ended but I thought getting a few opinions before I pull the trigger would be helpful.

CINEMA 4D is available in 64 bit on Windows since R9. If you use XP 64 bit or Vista 64 bit CINEMA 4D will use all the memory it needs, up to the theoretical limit of the OS.
The actualy used amount of memory of course depends on the scene and settings at hand.
If the usefull amount is 8, 16, 32 or 1000 GB depends on what you do. Personaly i found 8 GB sufficent for everything i tried so far.
