Free Softimage XSI training day at Escape!

Escape Studios is pleased to announce an exclusive, hands-on Softimage training session offered at no cost – for one day only. Delivered by Graham Bell, Softimage Product Specialist, the training will take place on Friday November 7th – 10:30 am until 3:30pm.

Escape Studios’ Training Development Director, Lee Danskin added, ‘It’s great to give people the opportunity to experience some of the XSI capabilities. Escape's close ties to the industry mean we can bring this course to people free of charge, therefore furthering their skills and giving them more chance of future success. Escape Studios is thrilled to partner with Softimage in this training’

‘We wanted to give something back to our XSI users’ said Sanjay Mistry, Territory Manager for UK and Northern Europe at Softimage: ‘The day is aimed at introducing new or intermediate users to some of the XSI 7 functionality’

The training is split into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session will cover deformations and basic ICE-building concepts, including building a simple deformation and controlling the influence of a deformation.

The afternoon session will primarily cover particles: building a simple emission, controlling particles using states and interacting with surfaces.

Morning session: 10.30 – 12:00

Afternoon session: 13.00 – 15.30
