Game animations: how to save them?

Hello there.
I have an absolute beginner question to ask.... I'm using Foundation 6.2 to animate and render new characters for a 2d game mod. How can I store different animation sequences? I tried clips, sources, actions and characters key sets -even if the latters are not what I need, probably. The point is that as soon as I edit an animation all the others show the same edits...
What am I doing wrong? The built in help has tons of info about how to edit animations, but if it contains the info I need then I missed it. Any pointers, please?
Another question: Foundation has no MOTOR, is it possible to share animations between different characters sharing the same biped rig preset? At least if they are in the same scene?
Thanks in advance for your time, see you.
