The Hunt, Lauren K. Cannon (2D)

Title: The Hunt
Name: Lauren K. Cannon
Country: USA
Software: Painter, Photoshop

Hesobahn of the Dhuriiehm. The sister of Ii'saijha.

Done for a workshop in issue 33 of ImagineFX magazine.

Had a lot of little breakthroughs while painting this...actually, most of my recent work has been full of little breakthroughs. It's a good feeling, even though it reminds me how stupid I still am.

Photoshop & Painter. Thanks for looking .:)

Always great to see your work on display Lauren. Super tutorial by the way.

I'd definitely replace the word 'stupid' with 'still young and on a learning curve'. Gosh you're harsh on yourself. Wait until you get to my age and are still making those same early mistakes like I do - Then you can use that word.

Nice mood. The background really makes the painting work. The figure is awesome, but the background and use of color I think really pulls it all together. Really well done. 4*s
