Thumbs up Canadian Uni/ School

Hello Everyone.

Any help i could get from you guys would be greatly apreciated. I have been out of high school for a few years and am now looking into a university in canada. I would like to get a BFA but i have no idea which schools to apply to. I have been looking in to Uvic but i want to see what els is available out there and what the cg society has experience with (which school have you been too)? Im looking for a 4 year program, i have heard that the 1-2 year programs try to jam too much information in your skull in too little time.

Thank you!

Are the sticky threads at the top of the forum completely invisible?

Just curious ...

Hi Joel,

We don't offer a degree at Seneca, but if you want, I can give you some direction as far as what to look for in a school.

Just send me a pm on CGTalk or email (in my signiature) and I'll try and be some help for you.

Sincerely,

Thumbs up

Thank you Kirt. I did see the wounderful list of school that CG talk had to offer... However It is just a list... i was looking for an opinion as to who had experience With what school and from there experience, to give me a bit of an insight as to what they thought of it. Befor you ask, yes i did do a search, i found a lot of threads with similar questions but with no satisfactory answers regarding what i was looking for. Lastly most of the schools listed on that thread DO NOT offer a BFA but specialise in degrees in animation/ Moddeling/ Rigging/ ect. Befor specialising in one area, I wanted to get a good solid base in general arts that way if ever i deside that animation was not for me, i can always fall back on something els... such as a 1-2 year teaching degree on top of my BFA.

I apologies for bending anyone the wrong way with my question and im looking forward to any insight or opinion anyone has to offer.

Thank you
