how can i do that?

hi , thats my first thread here
i have a problem
how can i see through the object?
iam a 3d max user and in max u can from right click choose properties and sign on the radio button labeled see through or with the short cut alt+x

not sure if this will help

but being a beginner tinkerer as well i find selecting the object or item and then pressing m for materials and then making the material transparent a bit allows me to do this.
it might help till you find a proper solution

There is no Xray view. Your best choice is to make a matrial and locate it at the top of the shader tree, this will apply the matrial to everything in the scene when turned on. When turned off, all your setup materials will show again.

With this top Matrial make it slightly transparent.
