can i ask a non-tech question?

i found tutorial kit of xsi sell here http://store.softimage.com/store/lang/EN/XSI_tutKit.asp

but i already have the toturial PDF file of XSI 3.0 from xsi 3.0 CD, it has 474 pages

i want to ask is the " tutorial kit of xsi " as the same as "toturial PDF file of XSI 3.0"?

thank you!

Yes it is. The advantages of getting the kit (which I did) is that it is a tangible item, as opposed to the on-line/pdf tut's. I find it more convenient to have a book at my side than trying to read an on-line manual at the same time as working in the app- especially if only one monitor is involved! The tutorial kit also includes a CD with all the scene files and extras that would save much time downloading/installing. Overall, it's a nicely put together book and will look good on one's shelf

Well worth the money, imo. Also, I took advantage of the deal where I bought the tutorial kit along with the EXP CD and then got a fantastic XSI T-shirt for really cheap. Basically all three items for about $10 more. You can find that here.
