Yet another Iron Man sketch

Well, about a day's work, minus time for coffee breaks, lunch and breakfast. I think I've gone blind and need help picking out any problems.

Crisping up some scraggly lines, tweaked the colours, and fixed up some shapes that just didnt make any sense.

four things
a differetnt approach to the metal highlights ..you should try making them less spread out, more specular and anistrophic

a diffferent brush to produce those highlights and also for reflections. the brush is to noisy for shiny metal.

you need way more colour in the red and gold in his armour

he could be taller sleeker. look at some of the comic art online of stark.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll just quickly explain the lighting, he's mainly lit by a large stark light from above and through the chest beam diffusing through the mist.

You're right about the brushes. They look okay at this size (about 15% of actual pixels) and I'll need to tighten and refine them a bit more.

As for the pose, he's hunched forward, but yeah, I can see how if you didnt read that he has huge shoulders in this redesign, the pose would just read as 'incredibly stocky' instead.
