Bake animation

Hello,



what do they mean by 'baked animation' of a scene(or skeleton...) and how is it done ?

under the menu Edit you will find Keys -> Bake animation option.
you will bake animations mostly when you have done a simulation on your bones and you wanna have the keys on them (as an example). You can also bake anim for having the influence of constraints bakes on your bones etc.
