Question no new news about combustion?

hello guys:

did anyone heard anything about combustion what going to happen to it?
is it going to be discontinue or is there newer version than the 2008, i hope so things not going so good for combustion these day many people complaining and many people change to other applications.
sad

am still a supporter for combustion

Combustion 2008 is only 6 months old. They are typically 18-24 months between versions. So you have another 1-1.5 years before a new release.

I can't imagine it's not going to get the axe in the next year or soo.. Toxic is getting all the dev resources from AD. It'd be nice of them to offer an "upgrade" pricing from C* for us users that have suffered on a solid, but ignored software package. I think they keep it around for the price point. Not everyone can drop $3000-$4000 for compositing software... and it does get the job done, even if it is slower than the rest of the herd...

humm.. We all know what happens to the slowest animal in the herd...
