The Observatory, Eoin Rogan (3D)

Title: The Observatory
Name: Eoin Rogan
Country: Ireland
Software: Photoshop, ZBrush

The astronomer follows the moon. He constantly flees the dawn and the light of the morning sun. But, for now, he rests. The giant turtle never rests. He will follow the moon wherever, even across oceans.

Great image, well executed. The background works really well too. -Love the atmospheric haze effect. (Don't think the guy needs 'more wet aspect' either...not at that scale anyway). Peas bro'.

I like that fantasy medieval feel on this image and I agree with them that it needs a little bit more depth on turtle, but 4 stars from me cool idea really!

Excellent!
4*

I don't think the wet aspect is an issue either.
Too large of a scale for it to be wet from this distance.
Besides, he's carrying an observatory on his back.
He hasn't been in the water for some time and reptile skin isn't "wet" by default.
Actually the opposite.
