Hi TheMiyamotoMusashi,

I was lucky enough to have dated a kinesiologist for a few years. After reading your post, i dugg around in some of my old boxes and found I still had a book of hers.
Its called, "Biomechanics- A qualitative approach for studying Human Movement" Written by Ellen Kreighbaum and Katharine M . Barthels -forth Edition.
It goes into approaches for studying movement, the skeletal system and understanding the structures, types of motion exhibited by a system, body links systems and movements, functional responses of muscular tension, force applied to bone, neuromuscular systems.. anyhow you get the point and i'm sure your aware of what Biomechanics deals with.. since of course your asking about learning more about it.

I'm sure you could find this university book in a used college bookstore.
Have a look around.

All the best,
