Newbie Rendering question

Hi all

I am new to this so hopefully someone can help me out.

Modo Vs LW Worxley FPrime for rendering.

I gotta say I like Modo however is it better to use Fprime for rendering due to its speed?

What are the differences between the two? On my system I found a full ress render on modo took 4hours vs approx 20min on Fprime.

Is there something to be gained by using modo and spending the extra time?

dam .. sounds like if time is an issue go with Fprime!!! 20 mins versus 4 hours .. I know what Id pick!

Is doesn't matter on this forum. This thread topic will become trollbait even if it wasn't intended.

Yeah, what kind of scene are you rendering? The modo renderer is pretty efficient, I'm not sure about F-Prime. I think that you could probably optimize your render quite a bit. If you give us some more info, we might be able to help get the modo renderer sped up to match the times on F-Prime.
