I wanted to illustrate something that we might see in 50-75 years. A base has been built into the hill side that is shown in the display on the rock in the fore ground showing the last Dec 1972 Apollo 17 Mission. The Lunar Lander is under the small dome in the distance. I hope you enjoy it!

Apollo Xvii Moonbase

I'm almost sorry I submitted this art. I've been working on it for weeks and just ran out of time. As you can tell, it's really not finished. I think the concept is there and I think it's worth spending more time on it. I spent most of the time doing research, sketching and doing roughs and about a week of nights on the art. I started in Painter and gave up and finished in Photoshop. I just find Photoshop so much faster and easier to use, but I want to get better at Painter. I'm amazed when I read that somebody spent 2 hours on a painting and I spend weeks and still can't finish it on Time!

Please let me know what you think of it anyway.
