Hello CGTalk, I hardly post but I have decided to try and enter the War!

I'll be posting some stuff soon hopefully, I have a few ideas that i need to zone in.

Character:Warlord Paroxysm,
Class: Warlord
Artifact:Summoner, Gauntlets and Crown/Helmet

Character outline:This character Paroxysm, is from an alien world within our own galaxy, advanced insect/ anphibion type race.

Paroxysm has 3 enchanted items wich make a full set, her crown/helmet and gauntlets
these items allow her to summon a paranormal type strength , sight and speed.
Energy fills her body making in very durable. During its summon ghost type arms made of pure energy that allow her to have super strength and pick up things 100 times her weight wich also allows her to dual weild oversized scyths. The crown and guantlets were forged out of a skull and carapace of a magical god type bean wich self sacrficed to aid in this war and dark time. paroxysm is the brawler / warrior of her special unit.

great sketch and pose, clearly a very powerfull character, and i love the Ghost arms, however i do find it a little hard to tell that the character is female. it reads more like a Skinny LOTR Orc to me.
maybe a close-up of the head and upper body would make it more clear?

woo, looks sweet with those "ethereal" gauntlets. I can second scudz, but other than that not much to crit.GL!

Thanks guys!, Ill work on it a bit to make it more female, I think cleaning up the silhouette will help we shall see what i can do on a tighter sketch.

your sketch has a good shape and a good flow to it. May be hard to dual wield sickles though. keep us posted
...i don't care if the book was better...

2.1 cents

ditto about the colours.

I love the forms running through the top half, mayble imploy some of those hard edges in the bottom half too?

i'm alright with the colors, but they aren't entirely 'cgsociety' recognizable.

Still, nice pic.

The colour scheme is beautiful. Really nice shapes, the thing I like about this is that you've made an armoured figure but managed to make it different from the run of the mill stuff. Nice work.
