Linux version
Partly so as to give this forum at least some life, I thought I would post here to say that Nevercenter has announced that they have been working on a linux version of Silo2. Here is the full post (hope they don't mind me posting it here).
------------------------------------------------- Hi folks, Silo development marches onward. We still can't talk about much of what we're working on, unfortunately, but I can let you in on one area where we've made a lot of recent progress: Linux. The final frontier. :] Silo is running quite well and we're hoping to pass it on to the beta team sometime well before we are dead. (As we've learned over and over again, trying to predict exactly or even approximately when can only end in pain for all involved, so we'll just leave it at that.) I also want to reiterate that we are actively working on stability issues and bug fixes, and they're a high priority for the next update. We've hit some nasty ones, from a programming perspective, which have sucked up a bunch of our time. But we will prevail! ----------------------------------------------------- |
