Painter-PS blending modes matching

Hi all,
currently colourizing some psd illustrations in P.X.
when i open the image back in PS (cs2), in order to export etc, Painters colourize layer defaults to colour, and will appear incorrect, that is reds will appear normally, but blues will show desaturated.
if in Painter I use color blending mode (which both PS & PX have in common), it does not appear as in PS color blending mode, but rather as PS Multiply lookalike, showing color over the white areas too.

In short is there any PS-Painter blending mode conversion procedure, tip etc?
TIA
