SamplerInfo Node details
If I attach the samplerInfo node to a shader (ie. blinn1), I can get the pointWorld data about the objects that have blinn as their material. Surely samplerInfo knows everything about the frame? What can I attach it to to get all of the points visible in the scene??
Also is there a way to change the sampling rate or things like that? Is there a way to call functions (which ones?) that get things like pointWorld from the scene directly in the API? Basically I'd like to control the direction in which to shoot a "ray" and determine the distance at which it hit an object or if it missed completely. Thanks, David |
