checking children

checking children

hi,
I would like to find out if a object has children (objects parented under it..) and if so the names of the children.

hm.. hope you understand what I mean

with:
ls -sl -dag -tr
you can get all the transform nodes from one seelected object. if the size of the return array = 1, there are no children.
if the return is bigger than 1, it has children and all the returned array from 1 to the size of it holds the names of the children.

"listRelatives" by default returns all the children's names (-c flag). See "mel commands" in help.
