Python: standalone script

Hello folks,

I've been trying to create a script using standalone maya to batch some processes without launching whole GUI.

I'm wondering if there are detailed limitation about this feature of maya.

I was able to make most of function and have it work on one scene file, but when I tried on other one, it gave me an error.
The two scene is pretty much identical in structure.
When the script is ran from Maya's script editor, both scene worked.

The particular area which gave me an error was when I was applying wrap deformer to object.
One would work and one wouldn't.
It just doesn't make sense to me at all.
Any help will be appreciate it, thanks.

Yuta.
