Export 3DS texture problem
hei (sry bout bad english)
maybe this question has been here before but... when i export my scene to .3ds all polygon selection textures will be meshed up. like one object has 10 polygon selections with textures and when i convert to .3ds it got only 1 texture on object How can i fix this problem? please help! |

i think your problem will be resolved with the OBJ files using the free riptide plugin.

yeah it helps
![]() but some textures are black --- image is in right place when i chance color to white - then it shows texture ?? |

Riptide sets the mixing mode (in the Color channel) to "Multiply", so if the color is specified as black, when it gets multiplied by the texture pixels, it'll end up black. If you can set the color to white before exporting, it should be fine. |
