Unhappy i wish i was this good learning photoshop ,..slowly...but i wish i could paint metals as good as this dude..who i believe did textures and models for unreal2...are there any tutorials on how to paint metals in photoshop like this..cuz i tried it myself..i can get the shapes and shading down and all that, but it still looks like it was painted and doesnt have the smooth realistic metal look(see example below )..its making me cry like a little girl..pleez help me..

Or you could check out the video tutorials by the guy who actually did a big bunch of the U2 skins:

You'll be looking for Roshach's metal skinning tuts specifically, although they're all damn good (except mine, mine blow, a little).
