Met Film School Announces new VFX courses
VFX Training at the Metropolitan Film School in London
Maya VFX Junior
This course has been designed for individuals with some basic 3D knowledge looking for specialised training in VFX. Delivered in conjunction with Ealing Studios based post-production facility Men From Mars, this tailored course will teach the skills required to integrate 3D geometry, models and lighting with live action footage, using a combination of tracking software and Maya. By the end of this six-week course, participants will have achieved a high level of proficiency in areas related to camera tracking and live 3D action integration. This course is intended to develop core skills as a Junior VFX artist and serve as a foundation for future development within the industry as a Technical Director.
The Met Film School is part of the Met Film group consisting of the Met Film School, Met Film Production, Met Film Post and Met Film Creative. Unlike any other film school we are therefore completely integrated with the film industry. This ensures we only teach the most relevant and up-to-date content, and often leads to job opportunities in our other businesses for graduates. Met Film Production develops and produces a number of feature films each year; Met Film Creative offers a range of creative and production services for film, TV and corporate clients; and Met Film Post is a leading post production business, specialising in end-to-end sound and picture post.
