Post WiP: Advanced Whitestar

A little project of my own, based upon the whitestar concept from the scifi tvshow; Babylon5..
The mesh is complete and now most of the textures are now in place, its only minor tweaking left.. hope ya all like it.

I love the TV show, and your model lloks just like in B5. The only suggestion to overall design is about those non-organic shapes tha you've put inside. It looks good, and probably is the reason why you named it advanced, butthe fact, that Vorlons made the technology for this ship does not allow it to have non-organic shapes =) Well.. don't listen to me

This is great work. I almost thought I was looking at B5 show itself.

It's a good point about the Vorlon's nonOrganic shape. Most vorlon ships is organic origin. And your ship has some nice nonorganic curves. But it's all minor issues if it looks this good.

Did you see the last episode of B5? In it, you see how WhiteStar looks in 20 years, and their design direction is way simplfy. Perhaps yours could be inbetween.

What is the yellow glow? If it's engine, should the yellow glow point toward rear instead of pointing front?

just nitpicking

thx ya all.. mm, let me begin with showing how the orginal ship from the show lookd like at this link:
http://www.eon3d.com/temp/ws_schematic.jpg

DSedov: Sure i agree but however, this is not enterily a vorlon based ship.. the whitestar ships are a hybrid between Minbari - Vorlon based technologi...

3dsmax: In the last episode of B5, that was a personal Whitestar Sheridan cruisd around with.. its a smaller vessel, much like a space fighter with a solo pilot. Eitherway i did't like that design, to simple and dull.. What the yelloglow is? well... i really dont know, im not a tech freak.. it was their in the orignal ws design so i took it, probebly propulsion drivers.. however i have engines in the rear part and the end of the wings.
