Fire reflected in ice?

Can anyone help me out here? I want to create the effect of fire reflecting on the lower half of a block of ice. Any suggestions? Animated reflection map perhaps? Thanks

All depends on how you are making the fire.

If it's a particle system, or some other matter of voodoo, then there more to it.

If you just want fire reflected off a surface, and you have an animation of fire, then just do what you said.

Thanks for the confirmation Z

I just want the fire to reflect on the surface and not actually be in frame so I'll just use a quictime movie of fire in the reflection channel, oui?

Have at it!!
