Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: warrior

Hey guys I'm gonna animate a warrior using his spear like a guitar as if he was a rockstar.........kind of a contrast to the usual serious all-work-and-no-play type of warrior.......i'll hopefully develop the idea as i go's not a very creative way to interpret the theme "strange behaviour" but this is the best I could come up with and I hope this ends well Goodluck to everyone

The concept for the warrior I'm going to use in the animation.
I kinda took the design a friend of mine did here: and tinkered with it...

Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: Warrior_Face_Early

Started working on the face. I'm going for an Elf-like character. Box modeled in 3ds max and imported into ZB2.

Modeling: Head_Modeling

Used ZB2 to flesh it out. I think the nose is a bit too small....

Very nice armour design! Kind of new to me, but I like the forms!
I had an almost similar concept, but with orcs, which I abandoned temporarily!
I don't think you will have any problems animating those pointy edges, if so, why
not the form close up to a series of polygons, instead of one, but so very close to eachother, if you know what I mean!
Good luck with your concept!

Thanks varma glad you like the design.
Orcs you say? haha thats wierd cuz my first concept was and orc prancing around in a field of flowers !! I chose this cuz it has a lot more animation to it and cuz i had this unexplainable desire do do a warrior (I still might revert back to that orc if this doesnt play out well)
I understand what you mean but i was worried if rotating the hand backwards would be a problem......but i didnt need to do that it so its cool
I'll be uploading sketches of my concept giving this one a bit of a story.

I'm curious how you're gonna show the whole of your concept in just a still render
Thanx for stopping by and goodluck

Not happy with the lower portion...needs work. The thing on the top right is the shoulder guard which is separate so that i can have more control over it when animating. It's exposed from the sides which I dont think is a very good idea but it's stylish..........right?
