Gamasutra is running an article where Industrial Light & Magic's director of R&D (and Oscar-winner!) Steve Sullivan talks about Lucasarts plans of game & film tool convergence.

It's very ambiguous from the interview, but it basically refers to unifying the ILM and LucasArts pipelines via Zeno. Last year they showed a Zeno tool (forget it's specific name) for game level building at LucasArts, which meant that ILM could use it if the need arose, for example.

If you want more info check their SIGGRAPH course or drop by the Lucasfilm booth if you're going to San Diego.

very smart... follows right in the steps that Lucas outlined for the past few years : more content on cheaper multiplatform media.
