Desperately Need : Motorcycle Engine Blueprints/References

I'm a beginner at 3D modeling, and interested to model a motorbike...

I've done a low-poly modeling of my own street-fighter type motorbike,
completed almost all part of the bike except one part. I got dead-stuck
in modeling the engine...

I simply don't have adequate understanding about the engine and parts
connected to it. So i don't have even tiny picture of how to build it.
(except for, an 8-side-cylinder i've modeled for an engine... >.<)

I have been googling for 4 days, but failed to get a proper one...
Many references i got aren't pictures, instead they are very very much
technical, which give me no point to start model the engine right away...

If any of you have any blueprints/references about motorbike engines n
any parts that connected to them, wether it's for a coopers, cruisers,
street fighters, racers, or any-kind of motorbike, please, i beg you, to
share with me... Any help would be very much appreciated...

Thank you very much in advance..

I'm sure someone will come through, but you don't have a camera and a dealership nearby? I'm 99% sure the dealers won't complain if you explain to them what you're doing.

That's a very good idea !.. Thanks !
Instead, i'd go to some motorcycle service center, taking pictures of the engines...
However, most of them would be small engines, as big cc engines are rare enough
in my country.

Any direct to references, are still welcome.

What kind of engines are you looking for, specifically? I live about 2 minutes from an auto row, I'm sure they have something there.

Thanks for your kind offer, and sorry for being late to reply...

I don't know much about motorcycle engines and other components connected
to them directly. But, i can tell that i need references to racing motorcycles
engine with big capacity (above 750cc)...

If anyone can point me to this, i'll be very grateful...

Thank you very much in advance...

Would something like this help?

(Google image search can be your friend, you just need to be a bit more persistent at it.)

@pauljs75

Although youíve resurrect a 10 months old thread, i still want to say thank you very
much for giving me that link.

However, iíve been looking for any motorcycle engine blueprints available, preferably
a 750cc or more capacity as iíve model a streetfighter type motorcycle but got stuck
in the engine part (and everything connected to it) since i donít have any reference.

A perspective view of engine should be enough for most people but me. Cause i donít
have any knowledge of how the engine works in general, for example: where do the
fuel flows form fuel-tank, whereís the exhaust pipe connected, etc.

Googling for this specific blue-print havenít been easy for me. So, any help would be
much appreciated.

Thank you.

Edit:
pauljs75, after restudied those pictures from your link, i really have to say that they
help me alot ! Now, only a minor bit info about the engine still needed. But i think things
are a lot easier for now. Thank you !

Talking

That long? Heheh. Didn't notice the date. But considering the current amount of activity, this whole forum could use resurrecting.

Glad the pics helped. All I did was pick a brand of bike that would fit into the street-fighter category, and then add words like "engine details" to the search. But sometimes you really have to dig through the index because search spammers can muck up the results.
