depth of field

hey guys i need some help

i cannot seem to get the settings right for seeing things in focus close up and blurry in to back

i need the cam as it moves closer to see the object in focus at all times but still see the background out of focus


help please

Hi there

This might help:
Set your DOF shader to 'Custom mode' and in the DOF properties put "ctr_dist_cam_int( Camera. )" in both Near/Far focus. This will give you a sharp focus where your camera interest is.
If you want to use a null to control the focus area replace the expression with: "ctr_dist_cam( my_null. )".
Then you can adjust the amount of blur with the "DOF Strength" slider.
