Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: next idea

just another idea, the creature is part of an invading force but is compelled to do some something against it's nature and rescue the child.

but not really sure about it. Is this brief all about homour or is it just an option? could use some opinions...

any one ? do you think the brief means it has to be funny ?

Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization:

i'm thinking i'm going to move on to a different idea soon. but in the mean time i'm quite enjoying playing with this....

The baby in the robot's arms idea is emotional. I really like the zombie in the veggie deli idea, though.

You could get the zombie to have some of that overly pasty sterotyped vegetarian look and use a stolid expression to show how boring standing in line is... especially if most everyone has the same expression. There's something really satyrical and fun underneath this idea that's a little less obvious.
"A thousand Cheshire Cats grin inside of me."

Hey man, I like both concepts, but I think the invading force concept doesn't have that "strange" feel to it, if you know what I mean.

Though at the same time going against what he is suppose to do can be considered strange, the trick is getting the judges to pay attention that much, you really have to make it worth their while to think about your piece.

I think if done right this could be very good.

Good Concept, the Vegi Zombies (taaammaaaatoooooesssss) did make me laugh when I saw it.

Keep it Odd!
There is no one right way to do anything.
Only the un-explored ways. =)
