Ship, Andrea Bertaccini (3D)

Title: Ship
Name: Andrea Bertaccini
Country: Italy
Software: 3ds max, Brazil r/s, combustion, Photoshop

This image is a shot of an animation that i've realized for the Free Picture Film Company.
Is a short where thare's a mix of underwater and overwater scene.
The ship is based on the storical "Bounty" ship, the image is a hi resolution shot of the original animation, so the detail of the ship is not too mutch because we have to put a limit at the time render, all the animation contain some underwater scene with sharks.
I hope to take time to put the short on the gallery, all comments are wellcome.

Name :Ship
Client: Free Picture Film
Artist:Andrea Bertacccini

Wow, that's a beautiful image.

I'd comment on the structure of the ship but it would all be BS. Don't have a clue.

Any chance you'll be posting other angles, environments, and lighting shots?
Would love to see them.

Looks spectaculair, just the wake looks like cuts in the ocean instead of waves, but maybe you can't see that in the animation. Very nice image!

Thumbs up Ahoy.

Great work and detail, one sugestion I would mak is that the sails seem to be a tad to white, a little weather would be nice IMO. From personal interaction with sailing vessels. Other than that it is great. four stars **** One question is the water a composite (real image)?

Thanks for the other angle!.
Now how about at night, rough seas, and a lightning storm

By the way... looking at your portfolio I see alot of images I've taken note of before.
Morpheus, the shark, Buzz... nice work.
When you tackle an image you really shoot for all the details and it shows.

Now for a crit: You smell funny (didn't want to get too fan boy).
