Question Suppressing console output for warnings and errors

Suppose you have a massive file that loads oodles of references or something, and generates thousands of warnings (which you've determined you pretty much dont care about) while loading.

Writing all these lines to the console is a big performance hit, and as the console buffer grows in memory the performance gets worse and worse.

Does anyone know if it's possible to toggle error and warning output to be suppressed or not supressed?
